Amanda Yeary was 14 years old when she sensed and acted upon a desire to pursue beauty alongside academia. When Amanda graduated from Mentor High School, she was already a licensed cosmetologist. Amanda stood out among her peers in Cosmetology Classes at Brush High School and her instructor highly recommended her to Andrews Colour Atelier when they called seeking a reference for an assistant position. Every career has a defining moment that can mark the difference between mediocrity and greatness. A decision that can be life changing. For Amanda that moment was when she accepted and became an assisting team member under the guidance of Erin Andrews, founder of Andrews Colour Atelier. Amanda’s attention to detail and her instinctive desire to make each and every client feel relaxed are real assets in a busy environment. It is under the watchful eye of Erin Andrews that she is learning how to truly perfect the skills of this highly technical and artistic trade. Amanda has said of her apprenticeship, “so far I am truly inspired by the way Erin and Jackie’s mastery of color and creativity can change a clients entire outlook on themselves and make them happier being who they are.” Amanda looks forward to completing her apprenticeship with Erin and continuing to develop her own approach as a master colorist at Andrews Colour Atelier.
